2023 Ramble Amble Poker Run

Explore the city on foot, either running or walking, in a casual 1- to 3-mile course. All proceeds from the event go to charity, with half going toward the PSAI Scholarship Fund and half going to Friends of Ngong Road. 

This year, we’re keeping the parts that you love... 

• Help two good causes. Proceeds will benefit Friends of Ngong Road and the PSAI Scholarship Fund. 
• See the city. 
• Enjoy fun with PSAI friends as you walk or run the course together. 

And adding some new elements for a little more fun... 

• It's a Poker Run again this year. Participants will get a playing card at the start of the course. Stop at card tables along the route to gather more cards and complete your poker hand. Don’t like the hand you were dealt? Buy additional cards at the end of the course to improve your odds. Best hand wins! 

After the run, participants can make their way to the hotel for music, drinks, and hors d’oeuvres. Our grand prize winner will be announced during this evening reception, where we’ll have the space reserved until 9 p.m.

• The $25 entry fee allows you to collect cards along the course and be eligible to win the 50:50 cash prize at the end (best hand wins).

• You can walk/run the course for free, and not participate in the poker run portion (no prizes for regular walk/runners).

• There will be limited day-of registration, but PSAI cannot guarantee availability of event swag.

• Proceeds benefit the PSAI Scholarship Fund and Friends of Ngong Road (PSAI's longtime charity of choice).

• Register for the Ramble Amble as you complete your registration for the 2023 Nuts & Bolts Educational Conference in Atlanta, Georgia!
