scholarship fund
Advancement through education is a concept the PSAI has long promoted. Our goal is to award up to eight scholarships each spring valued up to $2,500.00 to those individuals in our industry who have made a commitment advancing them through higher education. PSAI Scholarships will be awarded to qualified incoming freshman and current college undergraduates who are employees and/or immediate family members of employees of a PSAI Member company in good standing - worldwide! Full time employees with part time student status must have a 6 semester hour minimum to qualify.
Awarding eight $2,500.00 scholarships each year requires every member of the PSAI to contribute. Your contribution, whatever the amount, is a personal commitment of generosity from you, your company and your employees. We feel that the scholarship awards are a good fringe benefit to offer our employees. This is another benefit to attract and keep good employees with the opportunity to earn a scholarship for themselves or for their children, an opportunity that they might not have considered possible. There is also the opportunity to have a pledge acknowledged in honor or memory of a parent, child or great employee.
The Portable Sanitation Association International has entered into an agreement with ScholarshipAmericaSM to manage our Scholarship Fund. ScholarshipAmericaSM is the nation’s largest private sector scholarship and educational support organization. They are a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, which will allow any contribution to be tax deductible. Write your tax-deductible contribution check payable to: ScholarshipAmericaSM / PSAI Scholarship Fund, and mail to:
