Certification
The PSAI has designed this certification program to give prestige and recognition to individuals working in the industry. To the public the program is one impartial measure of a sanitation worker’s competence of the sanitary and health requirements mandatory in this industry. Round Tables
The purpose of a round table is to engage in an information sharing, brainstorming, and problem solving session. Participation is not based on your length of time in business or the size of your company. Whatever your experience, you have an important role and bring value to topics that are vital to our industry.
Round table discussions are held at both the Nuts & Bolts and Convention. Typically there are 20 tables with 10 topics. Each table consists of 5-15 participants including an assigned volunteer facilitator. There is no additional sign-up required, they are open to all attendees with a full registration.
Panel Discussions
Panel Discussions are made up of a small group of industry experts coming together in an organized fashion to present knowledge and discussion topics to members in attendance. Typically the panel topics focus on areas that are industry wide concerns for all operators and associate members like human resources, safety, disposal, etc.
