About Andy Gump
Andy Gump was born in Claremore, Oklahoma in 1910 and escaped the ‘dust bowl’ with his wife Irma, to California in 1934. After World War II, he became a cesspool contractor in Southern California and built his first five portable restrooms in his garage in 1956. He built his business in the ensuing years and in 1975 handed the reigns over to his son Barry.
